How a lip flip works
The muscle that circles your mouth pulls the upper lip inward, especially when you smile. A lip flip places a few small injections along the border of the upper lip to relax that muscle slightly, so the lip turns out a touch and shows more of its pink.
A lip flip doesn't add volume. If you want fuller lips, lip filler adds volume, and some people pair the two.
For the first few days, drinking through a straw, whistling or saying some words can feel a little different. This settles as you get used to it.
