What is an MIC injection?
MIC stands for methionine, inositol and choline, three nutrients the body uses in the processing of fats. Our MIC injection, sometimes called a Slim Shot, also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12.
MIC injections are not a weight loss treatment on their own. Healthy eating, activity and sleep matter most, and results vary. Every injectable and medical treatment starts with a consultation with our Medical Director, Susie Jezerinac, NP.

- Methionine, an essential amino acid
- Inositol, a vitamin like nutrient
- Choline, a nutrient used by the liver
B vitamins
- B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin) and B3 (niacin)
- B5 (pantothenic acid) and B6 (pyridoxine)
- B12 (cobalamin)
What to expect

Consultation
Your first visit is a consultation, and treatment can often be done the same day.

Before and aftercare
Before and after your treatment
Before
- Bring a list of your medications and supplements, and tell us about any health conditions, including heart or kidney conditions.
- Tell us if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.
Aftercare
- A little soreness or a small bruise at the site is normal for a day or two.
- Contact us, or get medical care, if you notice swelling, redness or pain that gets worse at the site, or feel unwell.
